Southeast Asia, where he supported journalists in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and those working in exile. His work centered on strengthening investigative skills, facilitating cross-border collaborations, expanding professional networks, amplifying the reach of investigative stories, and maintaining strong safety and security protocols for media practitioners. Before this role, he was Country Director at Search for Common Ground, leading efforts on peaceful community building, conflict transformation, and community resilience, including close collaboration with prison authorities to support rehabilitation and reintegration processes during crisis situations. He served in senior leadership roles at USAID\/Indonesia\u2019s Office of Democracy &amp; Governance, where he guided multi-sector programs on accountability, human rights, media, and civic participation. With academic training in law from Indonesia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, and a professional background spanning multilateral development and policy reform, he brings deep expertise in democratic transitions and systems strengthening.
